Crypt of the Habsburg palatines (viceroys)

The crypt, which is a consecrated space, may be visited only by prior arrangement and in the company of a guide, during the opening hours of the shows staged in the temporary exhibitions space on the ground floor of Building C.

The collection

The Photograph Archive of the Hungarian National Gallery holds approximately 60,000 black-and-white negatives and some 1000 slides. These photographs depict mostly works of art in its own collection.

Room Hire

The Hungarian National Gallery hires out its exhibition rooms for evening receptions of an appropriate standard. These may be of a standing or a seated kind. The fee depends on the type of event, the length of time it is expected to last, and the numbers attending.
